About the Illustration: A Piece of the Past
A Piece of the Past is a gathering of items, people and places, drawn from the artist's memories of childhood, and from stories told by her mom. In a quieter time before ipads and handphones, television shows were in black and white, and kids kept tiny eight-legged warriors in matchboxes. The illustrations in these puzzle are meant to be used as a talking point between generations and for each to learn a little more about each other.
 
About the Artist: Paintinks by melt
Better known for her whimsical illustrations of cats and dogs (Spot the cat in the puzzle!), Paintinks by melt is a Singaporean artist who is owned by 2 cats, a dog and a tiny sparrow. Christmas is her favourite season!
