About the Illustration: Childhood Favourites
This illustration brings together familiar treats many of us in Singapore grew up with — haw flakes, butter cookies, eye glass candy, and iced gem biscuits. Each detail is a small nod to childhood moments of comfort and joy, inviting you to slow down, reminisce, and reconnect with simpler times.
About the Artist: Jeremiah Teo
Good Citizen 好公民 was born from a simple act of kindness. Jeremiah, an autistic youth with ADHD and apraxia, found his voice through digital art when a teacher friend invited him to design a collection for her students. Through drawings of old-school playgrounds, childhood snacks, and everyday icons, Jeremiah shares quiet, joyful glimpses of the world as he sees it – reminding us all that ability comes in many forms, and creativity finds its way through the most unexpected paths.
